Thailand Development and Research Institute (TDRI)

          The Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) is a non-profit non-government Thai policy think tank focused on social and economic development issues. The Institute has 6 major research programs: Human Resources and Social Development, International Economic Relations, Macroeconomic Policy, Natural Resources and Environment, Science and Technology Development, and Sectoral Economics.
          Its legal form is that of a private non-profit foundation. It provides technical analysis to various public agencies to help formulate policies to support long-term economic and social development in Thailand.

What is the most influential source of information for tourist decision - making about their vacation?
Ans.  Development of business tourism to be fair and safe for their special holiday.

What is the effect of the INTRAMA 1990-1991 World Destination Monitor survey on the tourism industry in Thailand?
Ans.  Survey in 1990-1991 by the Intrama World Destination Monitor.  Thailand was ranked on the second place where the tourists were likely to be cheated or overcharged in Asia.  Traveler will feel like a don't safety in tourism and was unfavorable by the business owner.  And may give the corporate image of the country was in a bad way.  The country lost revenue That should have been from traveler.

What should be done to solve the problem?

Ans.  Can resolve this problem.  By set the standard of price, accommodation and other services.  Indicates the development of tourism in Thailand. To create a good image for the tourists.  And attract tourists back to Thailand again.
